Be the Light

As I look across our hospitality industry today, I see an increasing need for hope.

There are talented people searching for work, leaders navigating uncertainty, and friends quietly carrying burdens that others may never see. During times like these, I find myself returning again and again to God's promises. They remind me that uncertainty is not the end of the story and that hope is never out of reach.

One of the greatest gifts of Faith in Hospitality is knowing that no one has to walk through these seasons alone.

This month, I encourage each of us to be the light in someone's darkness. Reach out to a colleague. Check in on a former coworker. Encourage someone who may be looking for their next opportunity. Offer a listening ear, make an introduction, or simply let them know they are seen and not alone.

Sometimes the greatest act of hospitality isn't something we do for our guests. It's how we show up for one another.

LIVING THE JOURNEY

Looking Back to Move Forward

As we begin the second half of 2026, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the journey we've taken together.

Over the past several months, we've shared twenty of God's promises. They weren't chosen at random. Each promise seemed to arrive just when our community needed it most, speaking into seasons of uncertainty, change, waiting, courage, hope, and new beginnings.

Together, they reminded us that God is faithful through every season. His promises became stepping stones that encouraged us to keep moving forward, trusting that even when we couldn't see what was ahead, He was already there.

As we enter the second half of the year, let's continue to live those promises, carrying the hope we've found into our work, our relationships, and the lives of those around us.

What Can You Expect from Our Virtual Meetups?

Each month, we gather virtually on the First and Third Fridays for meaningful conversations around topics such as purpose, leadership, resilience, service, faith, career transitions, relationships, and personal growth. Our meetups are conversational and welcoming. There is no pressure to speak, and everyone is encouraged to participate at whatever level feels comfortable.



A typical meetup includes:

• A brief welcome and community updates

• Introductions and connection with fellow hospitality professionals

• Discussion around a featured topic

• Opportunities to share insights, experiences, and encouragement

• Prayer requests and support for those who wish to participate

All are welcome!

BUILDING THE COMMUNITY

We're excited to share that Faith in Hospitality has been submitted as a proposed panel discussion for an upcoming tradeshow! Our vision is to bring Faith in Hospitality inside the tradeshow as an educational session, allowing even more hospitality professionals to experience what this community is all about. Please join us in praying this opportunity comes to fruition!
