May is for Mothers
A Mother's Playground
At Clancy & Associates, we get to meet lots of impressive mothers who blow us away with their dedication. Meet our client Peg Chaidez, who developed the idea for the "Dream Build Play Experience" after watching her son Owner's wheelchair get stuck on the playground's wood chips one too many times. Peg was determined to build a playground that all kids could wheel around freely and still be safe for all. Can you believe she has now spearheaded and collaborated on ten area playgrounds!?
Since the opening of Owen's Playground in 2016, Peg and the Dream Build Play Experience team have helped to bring inclusive playgrounds to many other grateful communities.
