  • Explain the jurisdiction of the First Tier Tribunal – Land Registration challenging unilateral notices and disputed determined boundary applications

Increasingly conveyancers need to give advice concerning co-ownership in residential transactions.
This session will explore:

  • The use of co-ownership questionnaires
  • Advising clients as to choice of co-ownership
  • Advising joint tenants – survivorship and severance
  • Advising tenants in common – using deeds of trust or Land Registry Form JO and keeping the beneficial interest under review
  • Relevant case law
  • Top tips on avoiding problems
