A Special Evening with Peter Chand

Thursday, September 21 @ 7:30 p.m.

For this exclusive evening performance, Peter Chand weaves together traditional Indian folk tales with the story of his parents' oppression under the brutal caste system in India (and their subsequent migration to England, where Peter was born). Don't miss "Mangoes on the Beach," live for one evening only at the International Storytelling Center.

Storytelling Live September Lineup

This month, ISC welcomes Adam Booth, Megan Wells, Peter Chand, and Roy Book Binder. Each storyteller will spend a week in Jonesborough, with matinee shows at 2 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, and one virtual performance that you can watch from home.
