Dr. Gordon Hasick Retirement Announcement

After much heartfelt reflection and thoughtful planning for the future, I have made the difficult decision to retire from clinical practice effective July 1, 2026.

Although I am retiring from regular clinical practice, I will continue to be involved in teaching, mentoring, and research within the NUCCA community.

Looking Ahead

My priorities for you are:

  1.  A smooth transition of your ongoing NUCCA care.
  2. Continued access to experienced NUCCA practitioners.
  3. Clear steps on how you can proceed with your future care.

Now until July 1, 2026

I will continue to provide care as usual at the Britannia Clinic with my regular hours.

We will do our best to accommodate all appointment requests in the coming months.

Please note that response times may be delayed due to higher request volumes.

I will no longer be accepting new patients.

You may book online at www.c-1.com or call 403-243-0155

You will be able to continue your ongoing NUCCA care with Drs. Sloane Hunter and Jean Paul Bohemier at Vibe Health and Spine Clinic.

Under the Alberta Health Information Act, Vibe Health and Spine Clinic will become the legal custodian of your health information. They will be responsible for safeguarding your records, protecting your privacy, and handling any requests from you regarding your file.

You may also request to transfer your file to another healthcare provider of your choice. (Files can only be given to a healthcare provider, not directly to you as a patient)

Continuity of Your Care

Starting July 1, 2026:

Drs. Sloane Hunter and Jean Paul Bohemier to provide future care:

To ensure continuity of care, I have dedicated substantial time over the past year to meeting with and planning the next steps in your patient care with my trusted colleagues at Vibe Health and Spine, Drs. Sloane Hunter and Jean Paul Bohemier.

Dr. Hunter has been providing NUCCA spinal care in Calgary since 2003. She worked with me for eight years at the Britannia Clinic and currently provides my personal NUCCA care.

Dr. Bohemier has practiced since 2006 and is a dedicated practitioner with a long family history of chiropractors. He is motivated by the personal results he experienced with NUCCA care for his headaches and dedicates additional time to further education.

I have arranged for the custodianship of your patient records, both paper and electronic, to be transferred exclusively to Drs. Sloane Hunter and Jean Paul Bohemier on July 1, 2026

To further support and ensure a smooth transition of your care, I will continue to meet in person with Drs. Hunter and Bohemier, and will remain available to assist with the transfer of care over the next few years.

With Appreciation

I sincerely thank you for the trust you have placed in me over the years.

It has been both an honour and a privilege to serve as your NUCCA chiropractor over these many years. When I opened The Britannia Clinic in Calgary in 1980, I never imagined the depth of relationships, trust, and shared health journeys that would develop through this work. Caring for you and your families has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Together, we have navigated injuries, setbacks, recoveries, and many chapters of life. I have learned a great deal from your resilience and your commitment to your own health. I hope the work we have accomplished together continues to support you in leading a healthy, meaningful life.

If you have any questions regarding this transition, please don't hesitate to contact us at The Britannia Clinic. We will do our utmost to support you during this transition.

With appreciation and warm regards,

Dr. Gordon Hasick
