About the Program

This program will offer an in-depth examination of California's new rule mandating attorneys to report misconduct by their peers. The rule, which takes effect on August 1, 2023, obligates attorneys to notify the State Bar if they have credible evidence that another lawyer has committed a criminal act or engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or other wrongdoing that raises substantial questions regarding the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer. This program will discuss the background, implementation, and implications of the new rule.

This program will be recorded and available OnDemand later that day. Learn more about BHBA OnDemand at www.bhba.org/cle.
