A New Home For Theta Tau
Dear Graduate,

Exciting news ... Theta Tau is about to enter a new era in our chapter's history!

For the last two years, Tech Fiji's Inc. (TFI) has been analyzing and considering the best way to address structural problems and maintenance issues that have been increasing over time with our house at 527 N Peachtree Avenue. After much deliberation, it was clear that the best course of action would be to raze the house and construct a new, safer home for our undergraduate members.

The plan for the new home includes approximately 4,500 square feet, constructed on our existing property, that meets the needs of our Fraternity and today’s undergraduates. Our vision is to create a “state-of-the-art” chapter house that will raise capacity from 9 to approximately 15 and will provide up-to-date safety features along with leading technology options for today’s wired students, entertainment areas, an appropriately sized chapter room, and sleeping rooms that compete with housing options currently offered at TTU, all while maintaining a classic interior and exterior design, as envisioned in the rendering above.
Graduate Leadership
An undertaking of Tech Fiji's Inc., this significant effort is chaired by Charles Worsham ('93), and many volunteers are graciously donating their time, effort and energy to this important project. We are grateful to each of these men for their leadership and guidance as we work to build a new home for Theta Tau:

Our Early Donors
Initial calculations are that we should anticipate approximately $1,000,000 in total expenses for this project. A financial analysis indicates that income generated by room rent and parlor fees will be sufficient to cover a mortgage, assuming that we raise at least $425,000 to see the project completed.   And we are off to a great start, with $280,000 already pledged to the effort!    Our thanks to these generous graduates  who have already made multi-year pledges and gifts to TFI to help with the early expenses associated with the pre-construction design, planning, and fundraising costs:
