Sneak Peak at Hyland Hills New Look!

As a subscriber to the Hyland Hills monthly e-newsletter, you’re getting an advanced look at our new logo! After more than twenty years, Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District has undergone a rebranding process, and we are proud to share our new look and logo with you! It won’t be long before you begin to see our logo appear on all Hyland Hills facilities, vehicles, and written District communication pieces. This will be an ongoing process due to the large number of facilities in the Hyland Hills family, and the rollout will take an expected amount of time over the next year and beyond.
Hyland Hills Sports Center Project Update
The beauty of the new Hyland Hills Sports Center is beginning to show! Windows are being installed on the exterior walls and drywall is being hung on the interior walls. The winter weather has left the site muddy, but a lot of work is happening inside of the building!
Ice Centre at the Promenade Named Top 10

Have you been ice skating recently? One of the best options around is the Ice Centre at the Promenade where public skating there ranked No. 6 in a recent article by 5280 Magazine titled “the 10 best places for Ice Skating in and Around Denver this Winter.” Other ice facilities mentioned (in order) included the Parker Ice Trail, South Suburban Sports Complex, Belmar Ice Rink, Edge Ice Arena, Historic Downtown Louisville, Ice Centre at the Promenade, Apex Center Ice Arena, Olde Town Arvada, Downtown Denver Skyline Park, and Evergreen Lake. We are very proud of our three-sheet ice facility and staff there and you should be too! We hope to see you on the ice there very soon. Public skating hours can be found at icecentre.com.
Annual Foundation Golf Tournament
Celebrates 30th Year!

For thirty years the Hyland Hills Foundation has sponsored an annual golf tournament that raises money to help area kids enjoy recreational activities even if their families are struggling financially. The Foundation is run by a small group of energetic community volunteers who make it their business to raise the funds necessary to fund grants that enable youth to play a sport of their choice, and even learn to swim in the Be-A-Fish program taught by Water World lifeguards. The popular tournament is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. It is well known for its great location, great food and great fun. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, July 14th at the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. For more Information: hylandhillsfoundation.org
