$3.4 Million Riverview Avenue Improvement Project is Complete | | |
The one-mile stretch of South Riverview Avenue roadwork is complete after being closed for over a year. This section, located between Linden Avenue and Curtis Drive, was part of the City of Miamisburg’s $3.4 million Riverview Avenue Roadway Improvement Project.
The work included installing a new 18-inch water transmission main and reconstructing the two-lane road with a fresh asphalt surface, along with several other enhancements.
“These significant project sidewalk, curb, gutter and storm pipe improvements now provide pedestrian connectivity, improved drainage and an aesthetically pleasing paved corridor with a much smoother ride,” said City Engineer Bob Stanley. “I would like to thank the residents in and around the Riverview Avenue project area for their cooperation and patience as our team built the project over the past year.”
The project was completed in September of 2025. It was approved in the city’s capital improvement plan budget for 2024 and includes American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) federal funding.
