A New Start
Greetings!

What a quarter! It is hard to believe that this time last year we were just at the beginning of a period we will remember vividly for the rest of our lives. The Valentine’s Day Austin Blizzard of 2021 was the icing on the cake of a very challenging year. I love to paint snow, but do not wish to see it again in my lifetime!

While working from home, Bleckley, Megan, and Cass have had many conversations about how technology is transforming the investment advisory business. We learned we could talk to, and even connect with, clients remotely. We transitioned to securely sending and storing documents electronically. We also saw that our clients were taking this time to look at how they were spending their time. People asked themselves, “Is this still working for me?” We talked to clients about retiring sooner, retiring later, moving out, moving in together and staying home.

We asked ourselves the same questions and decided to launch our own practice under Northwest Asset Management. We saw an opportunity to reevaluate the way that we serve our clients, the way we worked together and the way we support our community.
We have been overwhelmed by the support from our clients and friends. Over 115 households have re-established relationships with us by becoming clients of Watercolor Financial Group. We have received introductions to prospective new clients from CPA’s, attorneys, and other professional contacts. This first year of business is off to an incredible start for us, and we are incredibly grateful.

Please let us know how we can continue to improve our service.  We are so grateful each of you has placed your trust in us by joining us as we start this new chapter.
