HELP US BUILD A RESOURCE TO SUPPORT TEACHING OF THE ANTEBELLUM PERIOD NEW VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP IS IN THE WORKS Our newest virtual field trip is underway! GPB is partnering with the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters in Savannah, whose stately grounds will act as a lens through which teachers and students can analyze the culture and economy of Georgia coastal communities before the Civil War. But we need your help! Teaching about slavery can be a challenging task.
