Grant Opportunity: First 5 Merced Mini-Grants Now Open GrantOpportunities
First 5 Merced County opened its second cycle of community mini-grants for 2014-2015, which are meant to be distributed among local organizations that propose programs benefiting children age 5 and under.

Those encouraged to apply include: nonprofit agencies, private businesses, community groups and governmental units. 

Completed applications for the grants are due by 4 p.m. Feb 20th.

Internship Opportunity: Health Career Connection HCC

Health Career Connection is excited to announce that the application for next summer's Health Career Connection Internship Program is now open! HCC will
be accepting applications until February 9th, 2015. 

Last summer HCC placed 7 students in internships with United Way Merced County, Golden Valley Health Center, Merced County Public Health, the Merced Organizing Project, and We'ced Youth Media. 
HCC highly encourages all college students (community college and 4-year universities) from the BHC and local community to apply.
