2018 is going to be an exciting year for CQEC! We are recipients of three grants totaling over $22,500!
The Texas Bar Foundation has awarded CQEC $10,000 so we can provide scholarships to train people how to have Advance Care Planning (ACP) conversations. This particular grant is to be used to train people working with at risk populations, such as the homeless, the urban poor, older adults, and the LGBTQ community.
The
Communities Foundation of Texas has awarded CQEC $5000, to help fund scholarships for ACP training, leadership training and begin a fundraising program.
We also received a $7750 strategic "seed money" grant from
First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth, to help us develop new partnerships and fund scholarships for at risk populations.
CQEC is excited to be at the vanguard of all this training, and we are thankful to our generous donors for their support and recognition of the importance of providing quality end of life planning for our community.
