Dear CCSNJ Members,
Happy New Year! The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey team is excited about the year ahead as we continue to serve our members with excellence, while offering new and refreshed programming and more benefits to enhance the member experience.
With the turn of the decade, we are eager to share CCSNJ’s new mission, vision and core values with our membership. The new mission and vision statements focus first and foremost on connecting each of you, our loyal members, while promising to continue to advocate for your business interests and to commit to building a dynamic community in the South Jersey region. Similarly, our core values – the first in the CCSNJ’s 148 year history – touch on some of the same themes, while encouraging an inclusive community both in the region and among the CCSNJ membership that embraces the diversity of the companies, organizations and individuals we serve. This new direction could not have been created without the expertise and input from our esteemed Board of Directors, which we were so fortunate to collaborate with throughout the process.
In line with the above themes, we created new programming for 2020 that we hope our members enjoy, participate in and use as tools to connect with other CCSNJ members. Throughout 2020 we will be unveiling the new “CCSNJ Business Councils,” which will include a Women’s Council, Diversity & Inclusion Council, Small Business Council and refreshed programming with our Nonprofit Council open to all CCSNJ members – just to name a few. Additionally, the CCSNJ is excited to showcase economic development in all seven counties within our footprint with our new “Regional Economic Perspective Series” and several events geared toward providing better access to the CCSNJ Board of Directors. Along with our new programming, you can still look forward to all of the CCSNJ’s Signature Events, Policy Committee meetings, Meet the Policymakers events, and Network Connection Series events.
However, 2020 cannot be a success without your continued participation. We are so fortunate to have a strong and loyal membership base and hope to grow your involvement with the CCSNJ in the years to come. This year will continue to offer opportunities to meet each other and do business, while growing the CCSNJ’s presence in Trenton advocating on behalf of South Jersey’s businesses, and enhancing the overall member experience.
Thank you for being a member of the CCSNJ. Cheers to a productive, prosperous and fun 2020!
