Carmel family-

What a joy to celebrate Resurrection Sunday, remember the resurrection together and call to mind the promises of God!

This Sunday, we begin our new 3-part series on the book of Acts, starting with A Not So New Normal (Acts 1-7).  Pastor Alex kicks off the series looking at The Power We Need & The Message We Tell from Acts 1:1-11.

Scripture journals for the book of Acts as well as our Prayer Calendar for April are available in the Gathering Space on Sundays or at the Main Entrance Welcome Desk during office hours on weekdays.  Be sure to pick one up if you haven't already!  We look forward to what God is going to teach us through His Word in the coming weeks.

In his Resurrection Sunday message, Pastor Alex challenged us to make a habit of memorizing Scripture over the next year, and so...next week we will share a few resources to encourage and help you as you strive to hide God's Word in your heart.

PS - Don't miss tomorrow's Online Prayer Gathering at 7am (also available via YouTube later in the day). April is Alcohol Awareness Month and several special guest will join us to pray for ministry partner Charlotte Rescue Mission (CRM).

For 81 years, CRM has offered hope and transformation to those battling addictions. Unfortunately, COVID has brought about a dramatic rise in the use of drugs and alcohol. Learn more here about how you can help.

Also - there are NO Wednesday night activities this week.  We'll see you next Wednesday, April 14.

Praise...

Praise the Lord for those who were baptized on Resurrection Sunday, a tangible reminder of the new life we have in Christ!
