A Note From...
Dear Friends,

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have followed the guidance provided to schools by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, San Diego County Office of Education, and the Department of Social Services.

Currently, CDPH requires that all individuals, including children over the age of 2, wear masks indoors at school and in childcare settings. Masks may be removed when students are eating, drinking, or napping, and are optional when students are outdoors.

In compliance with the CDPH requirement, we will be asking and reminding our early childhood students to wear masks when indoors. As is the case with other classroom expectations, parental support in ensuring the proper use of face coverings will be an important component of your child’s positive experience in our programs.

We find immense value in face-to-face connection and recognize the challenges that these circumstances present. We have always made great use of our beautiful and open outdoor spaces and will continue to do so this year.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone very soon.

Warm Regards,
The Children's School
