Dear Parishioners of St. Augustin,
I want to express how happy I am to be back here at St. Augustin. A lot has happened in the last six months, for myself, the parish and society at large. No doubt all of us have had our challenges but hopefully, with prayer and God’s good grace, it has also been a time of growth for all of us as well. For my own part during my time away it has given me the opportunity to renew myself. This has been important not just for me personally but for my service to the parish of St. Augustin. I have thought of all of you much during my time away and have longed for the time when I could return. During my absence I have been made keenly aware of your thoughts and prayers through phone calls, letters, emails and texts and I have been moved by the love and support that I have received from you. It is much appreciated. Now that I am back, I hope that I can reengage St. Augustin with renewed vigor as I serve you as pastor for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
