Dear Friends,
Unprecedented times call for extraordinary measures. At Jewish HomeLife we are on the front lines. This global pandemic impacts our most vulnerable population, breaching the family unit in a way our generations have never experienced. Families can no longer visit their aging loved ones for fear of spreading COVID-19 not just to them, but to their neighbors and to the team members who care for them. In consultation with our Medical team, we have put
policies
in place to safeguard our residents and clients from potential exposure. For more details, please see this week’s article in the
Atlanta Jewish Times
.
I have received an enormous outpouring of calls and notes from our community to see what Jewish HomeLife needs in our efforts to protect our residents from COVID-19. Below are some of the ways you can assist us. For more information, please contact:
Stephanie Wyatt
Thank you for your continued love and support during this difficult time. Please know that our entire staff is here to care for our residents and clients.
Stay Well,
Harley Tabak
President and CEO

Drop offs on Fridays at the entry doors of The William Breman Jewish Home:
- Care Packages for our Team Members – drop off an appropriate “care package” or “care package goods,” prepared by a healthy person, for our care givers and team members. These individuals are leaving their own families every day to care for our families, putting themselves at risk to ensure our residents feel engaged, cared for and loved. Appropriate items include, but are not limited to, wrapped candy, power bars, granola bars, individual sized chips, crackers or cookies, individual sized nuts, pop-tarts, travel size hand sanitizer, lotion, mouthwash, toothpaste and toothbrushes, Emergen-C packets, individually wrapped tea bags or other “comfort” items. - Donate to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta's COVID-19 Emergency Fund – Jewish HomeLife is one piece of the larger Atlanta Jewish community. The only way to get through a crisis like the one we’re in right now is to come together as a community. The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta's COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund has been launched for the purpose of addressing our community’s most urgent needs, as well as preparing for the overall impact that this crisis will have on our Jewish Atlanta services and programming. With your support, we can ensure that our Jewish community stays strong through this crisis.
