Wednesday, September 2, 2020
  • Back to school paperwork due in Alma. See instructions from Dr. Mollway below.

Thursday, September 3, 2020
  • Supply pick ups. Parents are welcome to come anytime between 9am and 4pm, however, teachers in the following groups will be available for a meet and greet on the outside patio at these times:
  • 10am: 3rd grade
  • 12pm: 4th grade
  • 2pm: 5th grade

Friday, September 4, 2020
  • Supply pick ups. Parents are welcome to come anytime between 9am and 4pm, however, teachers in the following groups will be available for a meet and greet on the outside patio at these times:
  • 10am: 6th & 7th grade
  • 1pm: 8th - 12th grade

Monday, September 7, 2020
  • Labor Day - No School.

Tuesday, September 8, 2020
  • First Day of School. The first day will follow a different schedule as we get acclimated into the distance learning program.  Students will login to their homeroom classes at their normal time. They will do some orientation activities and will be provided links for grade based "assemblies". It will be a shorter day and students will all be done before lunch time. 

Wednesday, September 9, 2020
  • Students will follow their regular Wednesday schedule.  

*You will receive additional information later next week when we have had time to consult with the teachers who return on August 31st. You will receive your student's schedule electronically and in your supply packet next week.

Back to School Paperwork
& Your Alma Account

Deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020

As a reminder, Alma is the system we are using for registration and will be our grading/attendance system once we are back in the building.

Please complete the following:

1) Follow the link to activate your Alma account.
2) On your Alma dashboard, there will be a tile that says "Alma Start" on it. Click there.
3) It will ask if you want to link your Alma Start account. Click yes and it will set up your Alma Start
4) On your dashboard, a link that says "forms and processes" will appear. click on that. You will be taken to the registration paperwork

there are a couple of glitches in the paperwork (sorry, new system, learning as I go)...

A) When you get to the page where it asks if you have an IEP or 504, you have to upload SOMETHING on that page, so if you don't have an updated document to upload, just upload a blank piece of paper. 

B) On the consent to administer OTC meds, you are only able to choose one. I will fix that once we are back in the building as it doesn't apply at this point. We can't make any changes to the forms once it is in process. 

If you can't find the link to activate your account, please do a search for Alma in your inbox. If it's not there, please send Mary an email and she will resend you the link. 

We are still using Gradelink for our grades and attendance during remote learning. If you are new to Park Academy, your login information will be sent home soon.
