Rosemary Malouf joins the Park Academy team as the Admissions Director after a recent move to the Portland area.

Rosemary attended Santa Clara University and majored in Liberal Studies with a minor in History. With over 20 years of experience in the Independent School world, Rosemary brings a breadth of experience in the field of Admissions. She started her career in the classroom and quickly rose as a School Administrator, serving as a Vice Principal, Lower School Director and Enrollment Director. Rosemary has served as a Cohort leader and Presenter for the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals, a national organization dedicated to the field of Admission work.

The field of Admissions is a passion for Rosemary. She is greatly motivated by the opportunity to meet families and help them find the right fit for their child. She puts the student at the center of every decision and strives to make families feel welcome and educated in all that Park Academy has to offer. A self-declared Data Geek. Rosemary believes in the power of data-driven decision making and using that data to make strategic planning decisions. She is excited to join the team at Park Academy and looks forward to getting to know all the students.

Rosemary and her husband Don and their three children and two furry friends were so excited to join the rest of her extended family here in Portland. When she is not on campus, you can find her in the kitchen exploring new recipes and creating her own. In addition to cooking, Rosemary enjoys all things outdoors and spends many summer weekends enjoying all the camping opportunities that Oregon has to offer.
Our counselor, Linda West, often has great information about college and post high school programs to share with our students. You can find the latest and greatest here, in the Counselor Corner.
Ms. West can be reached via her email.
Landmark College, located in Putney, Vermont, is a nationally renowned college for students who learn differently. Park Academy has had several west/east coast connections with Landmark: their admission representative has visited Park Academy several times to speak to students, both Craig Lowery and Linda West each had the opportunity to visit their campus, and one of our graduates attended there! If you are interested in learning more about the college, including their summer programs for high school students, please check out:
  • Fall, virtual open house: Wednesday, November 11th (Veteran's Day holiday)
  • Fall recorded webinar on The College Search Process for Students Who Learn Differently, an informative presentation on "college fit" and an introduction to Landmark College
