Dear Church Family:
On behalf of the Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations Team, I would like to thank Dr. Dedric Cowser for his years of service as Senior Pastor here at New Beginnings UMC. He has led this congregation with dignity, grace, and love. And it is with that and more that we wish him well as he takes the next steps of his ministerial journey, steps that will lead him to serve as Senior Pastor of Center Grove UMC in Huntsville, Alabama.
As for New Beginnings, we will receive two amazing pastors effective July 1, 2020. Rev. John Baldwin will serve as our Senior Pastor, who will be coming to us from Crumly Chapel UMC in Birmingham, AL, and Rev. Kiki Wood-Terry will serve as our part-time Associate Pastor, who will be coming to us from Pleasant Grove UMC in Hanceville, AL.
As we send Dr. Cowser on his way with prayers and love, please lift our incoming pastors, Rev. Baldwin and Rev. Terry, in your prayers as well.
