A Note of Deepest Thanks

Dear St. Luke's Community,
As many of you know, this past Saturday, my lovely wife Bethany and I were married at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Cape Elizabeth.
The day was filled with family, friends who are family, and an outpouring of love.
Bethany and I were grateful to spend time with friends whom we had not seen in years while being able to show them this beautiful state of Maine which we call home.
As we progressed through the week, a common theme that we kept telling our friends was the importance of the communities that have supported us since moving to Maine. They have become a part of our identity. They are communities founded upon the bedrock of care for others with selfless love.
The St. Luke's community is a core part of our life together. Although we are not parishioners here, from the very beginning each of you have welcomed Bethany and I with open arms and made us feel incredibly loved and supported. We cannot express enough how much that has meant to us. The blessings that you have bestowed upon our lives have been immeasurable.
Your profound generosity, words of encouragement, and care that you have offered is incredibly gracious and kind.
As Bethany and I begin this new chapter of our lives together, we hope that we can offer the same kindness and love that you have shown to us unto others.
With hearts full of gratitude,
Avery & Bethany
