• We want to provide helpful information for weathering the storm to our non-profit partners. We have compiled a listing of useful information on our website that could assist non-profit organizations as a result of the pandemic. For details please visit our website at https://www.communityfound.org/covid19/covid19-nonprofit-resources/

  • We recognize this developing situation may affect your grants with the Foundation, particularly those awarded through the Community Enrichment and Field-of-Interest grant programs.  We are currently working internally to determine the best way to manage these grants moving forward. We will be providing more guidance to current grantees in the coming weeks.

  • Sadly, we are cancelling our previously scheduled May check receptions. Since all face-to-face meetings will be convened virtually, postponed, or cancelled accordingly, we will connect with grantees directly to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible work they are doing in our communities.

  • We have plans in place to ensure our ability to award grant funds with minimal disruption.

  • Consistent with Governor Gavin Newsom’s directive to shelter in place, our staff will continue to work from home the next few weeks. During this time, we continue to be available via email or phone. Should you have any pressing questions or concerns regarding your grant, please don’t hesitate to email our program officer, Allison Findley, at [email protected] or 707-468-9882 ext.103.

It is times like this that reinforce our connection to one another. We are so grateful to work with you on creating a thriving Mendocino County, and look forward to helping our community blossom on the other side of this crisis. Thank you for all that you do.
