A Novena of Masses
for the Suffering Church
Greetings!
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive
their sin and heal their land.
- 2 Chronicles 7:14
As we endure these troubled times in the Church, many of us are asking how we can be instruments of healing and restoration to the Body of Christ? How can we navigate this suffering? We read in the above passage in 2 Chronicles that in times of wickedness in the past, we have been instructed to pray and seek the face of God.
Many of us are praying and fasting. Some have enlisted in our Women of Grace Warrior’s Rosary Crusade and have committed to pray the rosary for the massive re-conversion of the Church and its purification from this current spiritual battle.
But…there’s always more we can do for our loved ones! I invite you to join in our upcoming Novena of Masses for the Suffering Church, which will be offered for the healing of the victims of abuse, for the conversion of the perpetrators, for the purification of the Catholic Church, and for the strengthening of all of us who love the Church and desire for it to be that shining city on a hill that God created her to be.
This Novena will begin on September 23
rd
and will conclude on October 1
st
, the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. St. Thérèse dedicated her life as a Carmelite to praying for the Church. She was also a spiritual warrior and once said, “O Jesus, I feel within my soul the courage of the Crusader, the Papal Guard, and I would want to die on the field of battle in defense of the Church.”
There is definitely a spiritual battle ahead for the Church…for the victims, the perpetrators, and the Catholic faithful. Will Our Lord find faith on the earth when He returns? I say, “YES” because I know that my staff and I are doing everything we can to fight for it, and I hope you will join us!
