A 250th Fourth of July

Saturday, July 4, 10 AM - 4 PM at Ferry Farm

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 4 at the childhood home of the Father of our Country! This family-friendly Americana-themed Independence Day event will commemorate the 250th with dozens of activities, live music, entertainment, and educational programs presented by community organizations from around the region. Just $3 per person at the gate, free parking at the shuttle stop.

Family Archaeology Day

This interactive educational program is perfect for kids in grades K-5, and their caregivers. Together, you’ll discover what it means to be an archaeologist while learning about the people who lived at Ferry Farm.

Mini Mornings at the Museum: River

Thursday, July 9, 10:15-11:15 AM at Ferry Farm

Join us with your preschoolers and kindergarteners for a fun-filled morning exploring rivers! We will read a river-themed book, go on a guided river walk scavenger hunt, and create a river-scape craft.

American Revolution Camp

July 13-17, at Ferry Farm and Historic Kenmore

A few spots remain! For kids ages 8-12, taking place on weekdays from 9 AM to 12 PM. Through immersive hands-on activities, campers learn about colonial life, ships and maritime practices, historic trades, the challenges of war, and more.
