It’s the middle of the holiday — that time between Christmas blessings and New Year’s festivities.
Need a quick knitting project? Here's a suggestion -- a hat that comes in a multitude of sizes (newborn through adult large).
It's the Barley Hat and is a free download on Ravelry. You can round up a skein of worsted weight yarn and some 16" circulars to knit Barley Hat.
The one pictured below was knit for my husband a few years ago. I made it using HiKoo Simplinatural that is a blend of merino, alpaca and silk. It is super warm and he wears it a lot.
We hope you can make some time for creating in these last days of 2023. That calm of working with yarn and hooks and needles and fiber can be so restorative.
