Dear Riverside Families, 
  
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.  As this holiday comes to a close, we wanted to provide a few reminders for the week ahead and take a moment to thank our Riverside community! 
 
The first few months of the academic year have been busy and so productive, despite all the restrictions we have in place for our safety.  Our volunteers have been so dedicated, innovative, and energetic, ensuring that our events and programs take place this year.  Thank you to ALL our volunteers and to our entire community for supporting our school and its efforts. 
 
Please watch for information this week about an annual gift drive we will be supporting through a local student and Riverside alumnus, Luke McQuillan, for the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. 
 
And in case you missed it, just because we're all being more careful these days does not mean we can't have fun!  Check out RIVPTA.org for information on how to stay safe, while still having fun as we delve into the holiday season.

Monday, November 30 
  • Cyber Monday!  Consider making your Cyber Monday purchases on AmazonSmile and selecting Riverside School PTA as the beneficiary; Amazon will donate a percentage of sales to Riverside School PTA! 

Tuesday, December 1 
  • The Green Committee invites you to join the upcoming webinar "Merry, Bright and Waste Free Holidays" from 10-11am.  Hear from local experts, watch live demonstrations and learn fun and simple ways to be more sustainable this upcoming holiday season!  Register here.  It's free and open to all! 

Wednesday, December 2 
  • EARLY RELEASE for conferences.  As a reminder, there will be no lunch shifts so please pack extra snacks.  Grab & Go lunch bags will be delivered to classrooms for students who ordered lunch to take home.   

Thursday, December 3

Friday, December 4 
  • The Lost & Found team will be sorting all items the school has accumulated since our last Lost & Found session, and will have them available outside the school at afternoon pickup.  Please look for the tables which will be set up behind the handicap parking spots near the gym doors.
