Anyone can practice yoga: young, old, sick, healthy, timid, or strong, if you have the desire or curiosity to try something new.  This Special Beginner Introductory Week is your opportunity to learn from a highly qualified teacher. Discover a full system that enhances your ability to breath, move and rest. In a semi-private setting with one-to-one instruction, for five mornings learn at your own pace and at affordable price.  By the end of the week, you will have your own personalized practice that you can take with you and start a journey that will change your life.

Handstands Begin in Primary Series (7-8:45am)
Leaning to balance on your hands begins right from the first sun-salutation. If you want to start to build up the strength through the arms and core to practice handstands, the foundations are found right in the postures of primary series, starting with every Vinyasa - learning to jump back and jump through.
Experiments with Reality: The Internal Limbs (1-3pm)
Discover how sound and breath can change your state of mind. We will delve into a suite of seated practices, including japa, pranayama and different meditation techniques to develop a personalize practice beyond asana.
Fundamentals for a Pain-Free Backbend (3:30-5:30pm)
We will look at what is Yoga Chikitsa & Nadi Shodana and how we can purify our energy channels.
What kinds of physical & psychological preparations do we need to do to prepare for Intermediate Series.
We will explore some back-bending enhancements: looking at the principles of opening the heart, being vulnerable, and the importance to cultivate great strength in the foundation of our lives (and legs).

Clean Eating Workshop 
with Lia Pinelli
Jan 7th, 3-6pm 

In this very informative and inspiring 3-hour workshop with Health and Weight-Loss coach Lia Pinelli, you will learn:

- What the problem is with our relationship with food and how we got here
- How what we eat makes us over-hunger and over-desire food
- What to eat and when to eat it in order to stop overeating 
- How our Mind-Body connection facilitates mental health and weight loss.
Each participant should bring a journal of their choosing.
All other materials will be provided.
