Recently, Ven. Roger, assistant to our Spiritual Director Lama Zopa Rinpoche, wrote to all FPMT centres to encourage the accumulation of Hayagriva mantras, to dedicate for Rinpoche's long life and the continued improvement and recovery of his health.

Our 3-day Prayer Festival of Most Secret Hayagriva is a perfect opportunity for all of us, as students of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, to put our efforts into accumulating the mantras while the Sangha are leading this elaborate and powerful puja.

Those who wish to take part in mantra-counting can obtain copies of a simple Hayagriva practice and counting slip from Reception at Level 1 or from the office at Level 4, from 8 - 10 August. 

There is no target or limit to the number of mantras to count. Every single mantra accumulated, according to your own pace, will be welcomed. The total mantras recited will be tallied at the end of the three days.

We hope to be able to make a massive offering of all mantras accumulated on behalf of all ABC students to Rinpoche and to send him our heartfelt wishes and dedications for his extremely long and healthy life.

Reciting the mantra of Most Secret Hayagriva is also very beneficial for protecting ourselves against sickness and harms. During his visit to ABC in March this year, Rinpoche emphasised the importance of reciting the mantra at this time for our own protection.
