McLaughlin Garden

The Potting Shed opens on Saturday!

To make shopping for Mother's Day even less expensive than we already have, here is a deal for you:  Bring in a new or gently used purse and you'll receive 10% OFF your purchase.  Why?  Read on!

This year on June 11 McLaughlin Garden will host its first "Old Bags Lunch."  This fun event includes a lovely lunch, entertainment and purse auction. Purses are filled with yummy things like bubble bath and candles.

If you have a new or gently used purse sitting in the back of your closet, donate it to this fundraiser today!  This is your chance to get rid of a purse that you don't use anymore and help the Garden at the same time.

Tickets are only $15 and they are on sale now. Call 207-743-8820.

While we hope you will bring in as many purses as you can spare, only one 10% OFF coupon will be exchanged for your donation.

As a reminder about our new shop and to tempt you into stopping by, here is the article about the shop from the last newsletter:

Don't do a minute of Mother's Day shopping or buy another gift until April 30, Grand Opening Day for The Potting Shed, McLaughlin's new gift shop!

Over the last month we have spent a great deal of time creating a unique shop for the Oxford Hills area. Our guiding principles were:

1) Make it feel unique and an important part of every visit

2)   Carry mostly "Maine Made" products that you can't find

    anywhere else in the area

3) Keep the prices low - most items are less than $20

4) Stock things that are functional and fun

You will find jewelry, ceramics, soaps and lotions, bird houses and baths, cute animal-shaped planters, and much more.  Or - you could get a gift card so your special lady can go The Potting Shed and pick out something herself.

Here are a few featured items:
