Dear Friends ,

The MBTA has announced that starting next week the fare to park at Wollaston Station will be reduced from $5 to $2. The MBTA decided to reduce the parking fare after hearing concerns from the community about limited parking during construction of the new parking garage and development project at North Quincy.

Starting Monday, roughly half the parking spots at North Quincy will be unavailable. There will still be approximately 600 parking spots available at North Quincy and approximately 400 available at Wollaston. Though there is currently no train service at Wollaston Station, commuters have the option of parking at the Wollaston Station lot for $2 and utilizing the free shuttle service to North Quincy or Quincy Center where they can get on the Red Line. Shuttle bus frequency will increase starting on Monday as well.

For more information on this project, please visit the MBTA project website . We will continue to keep you updated as we hear more from the MBTA. As always, feel free to call our office with additional questions and concerns.

Thank you for the honor of serving.
