Dear Ones,

I’m very pleased to tell you that we’ve received $2,419,265 in pledges for our 2019 Annual Pledge Campaign. We haven’t reached similar numbers since 2007. To top that news, we’ve had 98 new pledging households step forward! This is an incredible accomplishment- it is a testament to the commitment of our parish to this church and a remarkable shift in the culture of gratitude.

We are still $95,734 shy of our goal of $2,515,000. To meet our goal, we are asking everyone to consider making an increase in their pledge. Even a small increase would make a difference.

What kind of increase would make a difference?

This year we had 622 people pledge to support St. Columba’s. If every person increased their pledge by $155, we would reach our goal. That’s just $3 per week.

In reality, that is not reasonable for all of us. Some are on fixed incomes, facing hardship from the government shutdown, or struggling in other ways. For those in a position to contribute, consider how much you could offer- an extra $10 per week? An extra $20 per week? More?

If you’d like to show your support, please email Bronwyn Roy directly-and we can adjust your pledge and our final total.

Thank you all for your dedication and ongoing support.
Peace!
