A Renewed Vision for Multiplication | | |
Greetings Ministry Partners,
I am very grateful for all that God is doing through CCI Indonesia. After attending the CCI Conference in the Philippines, however, I realized that my focus, and the focus of many of our staff members in CCI Indonesia, had become centered on classes and learning activities. In the process, we had lost sight of CCI's greater vision: multiplication.

This became evident during two recent graduations where no students stepped forward to become teachers. Too often, we have looked to pastors to lead new classes rather than encouraging alumni and other potential leaders to take the next step.
I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to attend the conference and to be encouraged through the messages shared by Dr. David Nelson and John North. God used this time to renew our vision and remind us that our goal is not only to graduate students, but to multiply disciple-makers who will train others.
Below are some highlights from Indonesia and the Philippines that reflect how God continues to work through this ministry.

| | I am very grateful that my visit last March to Manokwari and the promotion of the CCI class at the local church, led by Pastor Samuel, have already borne fruit. This month, a new class began with four participants, three women and one man. All of this has happened by God's grace alone. | | |
"My name is Tolayuk. I am a participant in the CCI Sabara class. Since I began studying in the CCI class, I have been blessed by the course materials; I have become increasingly equipped for ministry, and I feel God's hand continually supporting my life, both materially and, more importantly, spiritually. God always opens the way for the things I am struggling with. We are struggling to build a house and, praise God, this month, a servant of God representing a foundation stepped in to help us with the construction of the house."
| | CCI Philippines held a God's Financial Principles (GFP) seminar in Mandaue City, attended by 12 participants. Dr. David Nelson, Melvin Caindoy, and Henry Ventura, the National Director, led the seminar. One of the board members, Dick Persons, helped organize the event, and another, Aldo Atienza, shared valuable insights during the discussion. Many of the participants expressed gratitude for what they learned and are excited to share these biblical financial principles with their congregations. | | |
The participants shared what they learned from the seminar. One group reported that they learned that, "We should manage money in God's way. It starts with our mindset. We should not focus on a poverty mentality or a worldly perspective, such as prosperity, but rather on stewardship. We are God's stewards, so we are to take care of His property, which includes everything that we have time, attention, energy, and material belongings."
Many were blessed and renewed their commitment to faithfully supporting missions, realizing that God owns everything.

Prayer Requests & Praises
Indonesia
- Praise God for the new class at Amban Pantai, Manokwari, with four students led by Pastor Samuel.
- Praise God for the opportunity to attend the CCI Conference at Camp Karis in Bohol, Philippines.
- Praise God for the progress of the Naikudu class in Southeast Sulawesi as students prepare to begin Course 3. Pray for Pastor Alvian Useng as he leads the class.
- Pray for the CCI Indonesia Board of Trustees meeting in West Sumba this October, including the graduation of 10 students from three classes. Pray that all board members will be able to attend despite work responsibilities.
- Pray that CCI teachers across Indonesia will serve with pure motives, viewing teaching as God's calling rather than a means of personal support.
- Pray for Moses as he works to launch new CCI classes in Karang Asem and Jembrana, Bali. Pray that God will raise up committed teachers and students and open doors with the pastors who have expressed interest in the CCI curriculum.
The Philippines
- Praise God that the CCIP National Conference and Calabarzon Conference in June were very successful.
- The participants overwhelmingly praised the teaching, the facilities, and the food. and the staff.
- Please pray for the recovery efforts in Sarangani Province for our CCI students and teachers who were affected by the June 8 earthquake. Pray that God will help them rebuild their devastated churches, provide the financial assistance and essential goods they need, and enable them to recover and return to their normal lives.
- Please pray for good health, strength, and God's continued guidance for all CCI teachers and coordinators as they faithfully serve in their respective areas.
