All Medical Center faculty members are expected to shift their teaching to on-campus, in-person instruction beginning January 31. Faculty members who believe they may have experienced recent extraordinary circumstances can request permission to teach remotely for a limited time. Temporary limits on campus events, gatherings and meetings remain through January 30.
|
|
- For the next week, all university events must be held virtually or outdoors, with limited exceptions explicitly approved by university leadership.
- We encourage any meeting that includes Georgetown students, faculty or staff to be held virtually. Meetings may also be held outside or in one of the tents on the main campus so long as six feet of distance is maintained, masks are worn at all times and there is no eating or drinking.
Expect additional guidance and information this week about in-person activities including events and meetings.

Free high-quality masks are available at most building entrances on campus. Faculty and staff with a specific need for more masks beyond individual use for the day should use the online COVID supplies ordering form to obtain these rather than taking multiple masks from the building entrances.
