San Francisco 49ers Left Tackle Joe Staley Retires
San Francisco 49ers veteran offensive left tackle Joe Staley (74) announced his retirement on Saturday, Apr. 25 after 13 seasons in the NFL. Seen here defending a blitz by the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 20, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Staley cited a variety of injuries and a deteriorating neck condition as reasons for the decision. Michael Jordan's The Last Dance
Rotten Tomatoes: "A compelling and comprehensive portrait of one of basketball's great teams, The Last Dance 's blend of archival footage and candid interviews confirms there's nobody quite like Mike or the team he led to victory." (Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation for film and television.) Four episodes have aired to date, with six episodes remaining. (The next two will air on Sunday, May 3; two more on Sunday, May 10; and the last two on Sunday, May 17.) The Last Dance is shown on ESPN for US viewers and Netflix for those outside the US. Stanford Cardinal -- a

Stanford beat California, 68-52, in the Pac-12 Conference opener for both teams on Thursday evening, Jan. 2, 2020. Daejon Davis scored a season-high 20 points and sophomore forward Jaiden Delaire added a 3-pointer with four seconds left before halftime, putting the Cardinal ahead 32-21. Who Am I? Cal Quarterback Chase Garbers!
Late in the game Cal quarterback Chase Garbers started a winning scoring drive which was capped off by his own 16-yard touchdown run. The last score brought Cal a memorable 24-20 victory over Stanford in their first Big Game win since 2009. Garbers finished 20-for-30 for 285 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, to go along with a game-high 72 rushing yards in his crowning moment as a Cal quarterback.
