Animals with Bad Reputations (with Squam Lakes Natural Science Center)

Can you think of any conflicts wildlife have with people? The public image of some animals is often inaccurate and can result in negative attitudes. A Squam Lakes Natural Science Center naturalist will introduce you to live animals that have a bad “rep” and help you consider the good side of these wild neighbors.
This program will include three LIVE ANIMALS.

George Tooker: Modern Life & Magical Realism (virtual)

Benson Park Hike

Circulation Librarian Dana Benner will lead a weekly hike at Benson Park. Be prepared for a 45-60 minute hike up and down hill on uneven ground. Meet at the gorilla cage at 9:15 in sturdy shoes to leave for a hike at 9:30. Please remember to bring water.
