A.S. is celebrating its 120th year anniversary! A special commemorative logo has been created to mark the milestone. Join us for Wayback Wednesday, our anniversary launch event, on March 1st from 11:30am to 2:30pm at Tower Lawn.To learn more about our history, visit as.sjsu.edu/history.
A.S. has two available Board of Director positions in Student Government: Director of Rights & Responsibilities and Director of Co-Curricular Affairs. Deadline to apply is on February 9th. Please visit the jobs page on our website for details.
Looking for a chance to network and gain leadership opportunities? We are hosting the Elect Her workshop on February 10th from 9:30am - 3:00pm at Diaz Compean Student Union Meeting Room 1A. This free professional development training encourages college women to run for leadership positions on campus and in the community. Please sign up by February 6th.
SJSU also has events lined up in celebration of Black History Month in February! The first event will be the Zuzu African Acrobats performance on February 6th in the Diaz Compean Student Union.
Last but not the least, A.S. is happy to share the recently-released Annual Report 2015-2016. We have lots of updates, highlights and numbers to share with you from the past year. And we are definitely excited for our Spartans for Spring 2017.

A.S. Elections for the incoming Board of Directors 2017-2018 are coming up.
Application packets will be available for pick up beginning February 9th at A.S. House and Student Government (S.U. 2300).
The Students' Election Commission (SEC) and the Board of Directors have worked to improve the Elections Regulation Manual to help candidates through the process.

Be the legacy you wish to become! Start your journey at SJSU! The Spartan Legacy Training Academy is a series of workshops offered by the CCCAC in Spring 2017.
Benefits include a Certificate of Completion*, networking, professional development and a Letter of Recommendation (upon request).

Just in Time: Mobile Food Pantry

Just In Time: Mobile Food Pantry provides student access to FREE food every second Monday of each month.
There is a huge need on this campus for students regarding food, so SJSU Student Affairs collaborated with Second Harvest to provide students with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meat and dairy products to strengthen students through their semesters.
