If it were not for our dedicated volunteers, our ability to help children during the pandemic would not have been possible.

Thanks to many volunteers, businesses, faith organizations and supporters
last week, we were able to provide over 6,000 meals
to children ages 18 and under at BPS distribution sites. We have also supported Students in Transition, Cocoa and Melbourne PAL, Brevard Cares, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Club Esteem.

During the past 9 weeks, TCHP volunteers packed and distributed 56,000 packages of food, and volunteers contributed over 3,600 volunteer hours!

The number of schools sites for June is now 15 . LEARN MORE
TCHP will be providing over 3,300 weekly meals at BPS sites and other locations during the month of June. At $4 per meal, that's a total of $52,800 needed to continue providing to our county's most vulnerable children.

"There is nothing more honorable than caring for hungry children."

We began our pandemic plan determined to feed as many children as possible. That is still our goal. We will continue, with your help, providing meals to local children.
CELEBRATING PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS
Georgianna United Methodist Church has been supporting TCHP's children for many years, and during the pandemic their congregation has packed 1,000 meals weekly , distributing to Cambridge, Mims, Oak Park, Riviera and Golfview schools. On several occasions Georgianna have presented us with a check to help feed kids.

The pastor has spoke at TCHP events frequently, encouraging churches, businesses and individuals to devote resources to help feed local hungry children. We are deeply grateful to all Georgianna volunteers!
Ascension Catholic Church has also been dedicated to supporting TCHP's mission for quite some time, and during the pandemic their congregation has packed meals and distributed them to both Creel and Sabal schools. Many thanks to all Ascension volunteers!

We want to thank ALL local churches who support through their time and resources, from donating to packing to distributing. If your church would like to be more involved, please call 321-610-1900.
It's satisfying and gratifying to give back to your community, and we are deeply grateful to all who chose TCHP to donate their time and resources to helping feed hungry children locally.

Unlike organizations that have federal and state funding,
we rely on the goodness of businesses, civic groups, faith-based organizations and individuals to help meet our funding needs. Please consider donating and sharing this newsletter with others.
