Library Calendar of Events

Join us for "Great Lakes, Great Science!" Wednesday, March 4th, at 6:00pm, presented by Andrea (Jaeger) Miehls, Ph.D. Science Communication Specialist for the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Andrea will introduce us to the research vessels Arcticus and Sturgeon. These US Geological Survey research vessels are based on the Cheboygan River.

Come to learn all about the ships, including their onboard labs and specialized systems. Learn more about the Great Lakes Science Center, the vessel base here in town, the Hammond Bay Field Station, and the amazing advancements and discoveries being made. All are welcome, registration is not required.

The Book Nook is Open!

The Friends of the Cheboygan Area Public Library host a used book sale twice a week! Find some new-to-you books on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:30am to 2pm in the Book Nook bookstore on the Library's Lower Level.
