A SCOW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Two spectacular, windy races for the first day of the championship

The A Scow fleet is duking it out at the  2017 Wixon Jewelers A Scow National Championship this weekend at the Minnetonka Yacht Club.

After two races, Pat Hughes's Melvin leads the fleet with three points. Rounding out the podium is Tom Freytag's MadCap and Tom Whowell's  G Force helmed by R.J. Porter. North Sails holds the top five spots.

Today's racing saw big breeze, waves, and consistent whitecaps. Epic conditions for the first of three days.  There are some very tough competitors on the water this weekend. Everyone's hungry to find out who will take the title!
