Help us build a "Happy" Future...

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, we are excited to participate in

#weGIVECATHOLIC, Northeast Ohio's Online Day of Catholic Giving. We invite you to consider becoming a sponsor for this special day of generosity! Your sponsorship could serve as a matching gift, inspiring others to donate and support our school.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fund new chairs, tables, and health and fitness equipment for our Ironman Center. Our current furniture has served us well for over 20 years, and it’s time for an upgrade!  The Ironman Center is a vital hub for our community, hosting daily gym classes and a variety of events that benefit thousands of individuals each year, including students, staff, families, and community groups.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact and brings us closer to our goal. Thank you for your generosity and continued support. Together, we can ensure a brighter, more comfortable future for our CCCHS Community!

CELEBRATING STUDENT SUCCESS

On November 5, we celebrated the First Quarter Awards Ceremony at St. Stanislaus Church, honoring many CCCHS students for their outstanding academic achievements. The event began with a prayer followed by a special pinning ceremony that welcomed our freshmen and new students from each grade level into the CCCHS community.

Students were recognized for their exceptional academic performance based on their GPAs. Those achieving a GPA of 3.85 and above earned the prestigious summa cum laude honors. Students with GPAs ranging from 3.5 to 3.849 were awarded magna cum laude status, while those with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.499 received cum laude recognition.

In addition to academic accolades, the ceremony also celebrated students who demonstrated perfect attendance, as well as those recognized as Student of the Quarter, Teacher of the Quarter, and Student Athlete of the Quarter.

Congratulations to all of our hardworking and dedicated students and teachers! Your commitment and achievements inspire us all to grow in faith and knowledge.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: AALIYAH MASON

As graduation approaches, Aaliyah Mason `25 is ready to take her next big leap—heading to college to pursue a degree in biology and fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist. With great enthusiasm, Aaliyah reflects on her transformative high school journey at Cleveland Central Catholic High School.

Looking back, Aaliyah notes that she has become more talkative, interactive, and open to new opportunities since her freshman year. Among her proudest accomplishments is maintaining good grades, a testament to her dedication and hard work.

Aaliyah’s favorite high school memories are filled with team bonding experiences with the track team. “Track has taught me that pain is part of the process, but it’s worth it when you’re winning medals,” she shares. She credits Mrs. Boykins as her most influential teacher, praising her positivity and support throughout her journey. "She's always optimistic, and she's been pushing me to be a better person since my freshman year."

Her advice for incoming freshmen is simple yet impactful: “Get involved in clubs and activities—high school goes by fast! And don’t hesitate to ask for help; there’s always someone willing to support you.”

As she prepares for college, Aaliyah hopes to continue her track career and engage in student government. With a family legacy at CCC—her cousins and brother are alumni—she aims to leave her own mark by advocating for what she believes in. Aaliyah's journey has been one of growth, determination, and resilience, and she is poised to shine brightly in her future endeavors.
