With Gratitude from our Executive Director, Linda Saris

At LEAP, we are very fortunate to have a strong community committed to making this a better world for our youth, particularly those who are under-resourced and too often under-appreciated. We want to thank our amazing staff and volunteers who show up every day for our talented youth, our Board of Directors who give their time to offer wise counsel to our team, our partners who bring their expertise to shrink the opportunity gap and all of our donors. In this chaotic and often negative world, we have to remember all that we are grateful for.

Without you, none of this vital work would be possible.

Gratitude Spotlight: The Byrnes Family’s Extraordinary Support

LEAP for Education is deeply grateful for the seven-year partnership established with Mollie Byrnes and her late husband, John Byrnes. Through both the Peter and Elizabeth Tower Foundation and the Byrnes Family Foundation, Mollie and John have played an instrumental role in advancing LEAP’s mission to support young people across Essex County. Their philanthropic reach in the region is significant, and LEAP is honored to be among the causes they have championed.

Support from the Tower Foundation has focused on some of the most pressing challenges facing our students: mental health and social-emotional wellbeing. Many LEAP youth struggle with anxiety, depression, social isolation, and learning differences—areas where this investment has made a profound difference.

In addition to this vital work, Mollie, through her family foundation, has provided essential funding that allows LEAP staff to guide students through academic milestones, career pathways, and personal development. Her commitment ensures that young people receive the individualized support they need during these pivotal years.

Over time, Mollie has become not only a generous funder, but a true friend and champion of LEAP. Her sustained contributions—and those of the Tower Foundation—continue to empower young people to realize their full potential. She embodies LEAP’s core belief: that every young person deserves the opportunity to pursue and achieve their personal goals, no matter the obstacles they face.
