Inside our doors, families facing difficult health challenges with their beloved Veterans find a home filled with comfort, care, and compassion. We do everything we can to make this time of year meaningful—adding extra touches of holiday cheer, shared meals, and quiet moments of peace for those who need it most. 

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community—through donations, volunteer hours, and heartfelt support—we’ve been able to continue our mission of being a true Home Away from Home. On Christmas Day every year, many Americans relax and enjoy time with their families. For many of our troops, though, it can be a day of sacrifice and hardship.

• On this day, we honor the 2,403 brave Americans who lost their lives on December 7, 1941, and the countless heroes who rose in defense of our nation in the days that followed.

• Happy Birthday to the men and women of the U.S. National Guard — always ready to serve, protect, and save lives wherever duty calls. Since 1636, the National Guard has stood watch over our country with courage, commitment, and compassion.
