THE NEST sessions are on Wednesdays & Fridays and last up to 30 minutes. 

You can enjoy various forms of stress relief activities including:

• Zen Garden building 
• Self breathing sessions
• Music relaxation 
• Free Coffee & Tea and more…

Kick-Off Event Tonight

Throughout September and October, EVC's Art and Astronomy Departments will be hosting a series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Montgomery Hill Observatory.

Did you know you can stargaze right here on campus?

Join us for the event and learn directly from the founders of the observatory, Jeffrey Kirkbride and Georgiana Rudge. Other speakers include Professors Gustavo Flores (Anthropology) and Rachel Lazo (Art) on Art, Astronomy,

and Culture.

Free boba drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Stargazing and telescope viewings start at 8:00 pm until 10:30 pm!

Dress in layers and come out for the celebration!

Last week, EVC held its first Diversity Welcome Weeks events with meet-and-greet lunches for South Asian, Black, and Muslim students and employees. Next week, we have four days with more opportunities to make genuine and valuable connections so you feel like you have a community here on campus.

These luncheons are meant to ensure you feel included, recognized, and celebrated by honoring the different identities and experiences present on our campus. All students are invited to join.

Taking Math and/or Chemistry this semester?

Scientific Calculators are available at EVC Library for semester checkout to students who are enrolled fall semester. Bring your EVC Student ID card to checkout.

The cafeteria is now open in Gullo I Monday-Thursday

8 am-3 pm. When the cafeteria isn't open, there are other options through our Me-Fit vending machines located throughout campus.

There are also food trucks on campus regularly and other vending machines in the college bookstore located on the 2nd floor of Gullo I. You can also heat up your food in the microwaves located outside the cafeteria.
