A Special

Announcement

From our Executive Director and Board of Directors

Ministry Partners and Friends,

This is a bitter sweet time in my life and I feel it’s important for our ministry friends like you to know.

After much prayer and confirmation from the LORD, it is time for me to pass the baton. Effective Thursday, November 16, I will be resigning from Still Waters.

The last 17 years has been the biggest blessing of my life, outside of my husband and children. The LORD has given me a once-in-a-lifetime gift to be a Co-Founder and serve as the Executive Director of Still Waters.

Thank you, financial friends and partners, for your love, prayers, and friendship over the years. You hold a very special place in my heart. Still Waters couldn’t have and cannot exist without you and the LORD. I want to personally thank you for choosing to prayerfully and financially support this wonderful ministry and allowing me to serve alongside of you.

To our Staff, Volunteers and Board Members, I want you to know that you have blessed my life in ways that you will never know this side of heaven. Together, we have faithfully served, worked hard and loved well in order to get to the place where we are today. I’m so very proud of our team and know without a doubt that God will continue to use you all in incredible ways in the days ahead. Always remember to commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust Him and He will help you. Psalm 37:5 NLT

It is by no means goodbye, but “Until next time.” I love you all very much!

May the Lord bless each and every one of you. I pray you have a memorable holiday season and a wonderful Happy New Year.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Ketra Hancock

Brandi Westbrook

Interim Executive Director

Dear Ministry Partners and Friends,

The Still Waters Board of Directors wants to offer our sincere love, gratitude and best wishes to Ketra on this next step in her life. She is a Co-Founder of Still Waters and has served faithfully in her role as Executive Director for 17 years. During that time, we have seen first-hand her passion, hard work and unwavering commitment to our mission. She has been a fearless leader and stellar example of what a servant’s heart looks like. We know we are not alone in saying that we are very sad to see her go, and she will be greatly missed!

Thanks to Ketra’s leadership and the dedication of our amazing staff and volunteers, Still Waters is stronger than ever. We have been blessed with faithful partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations who support our mission of “Offering Hope. Providing Help. Breaking the Cycle.” Our programs and services are growing, and we continue to see the Lord use those resources to change lives. We are well positioned to move forward!

We are excited to announce that Brandi Westbrook will be the Interim Executive Director of Still Waters effective November 17, 2023. Brandi has faithfully served Still Waters for 7 years in various positions, and she currently serves as Office Manager. She is married to Skip Westbrook and is a proud mom and grandma! Brandi is ready, willing and able to take on this role, and we cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to use her as she leads Still Waters! She will be working closely with Ketra and the staff to ensure a smooth transition. We appreciate and welcome your continued support and prayers as we take these important next steps.

Please join us in thanking Ketra for her excellent service to Still Waters and in welcoming Brandi to her new position as Interim Executive Director of Still Waters. We give thanks to God for what HE has done and what HE is about to do! Our eyes remain on Him, and we are excited about the future of Still Waters!

Sincerely,

Board of Directors, Still Waters
