State of Illinois Announces New Grant Program!
Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) have announced a new Back to Business (B2B) NewBiz Grant Program. As the title describes, this program will make $25 million available to qualifying small businesses that were launched between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021 and have not been eligible for previous state or federal relief programs.
Grants Range from $5,000 to $30,000
To qualify, businesses must still be operating in an industry impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic as defined by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $30,000 based on when the business was established and whether the business is home-based or operating from a "brick and mortar" establishment.

The window to apply is scheduled to open on November 30, 2023 and conclude on January 11, 2024.
