This year has been another exciting time for Place of Hope as we celebrate all that we have been able to accomplish together with you.

We continue to see God’s hand over our combined efforts and are blessed to see God open more doors to reach those in desperate need of hope and healing. We are so grateful for you and our generous community, for joining this critical mission of helping the fatherless, the widows, and the destitute. This is evident in the two campuses that were donated to Place of Hope just this year, KidSanctuary Campus and our Stuart Campus, as well as the exponential growth of our Shade Tree Family Outreach Program expanding our reach regionally into the lives of so many who need our collective support.

From arrival into a safe home with dignity, graduation to birthdays, family summer vacations and community engagements to family dinners, 2022 was a special year for thousands of children, youth, and families blessed by you and Place of Hope. Our mission and efforts are essential for those in our region who need a hand up. On behalf of them and our entire team, I would like to thank you for making hope a reality for the thousands who have walked through our doors in 2022.

You are making a profound difference and changing life trajectories all throughout our region and we could not be more grateful. Onward together!

Blessings this Christmas,

Charles L. Bender, III

Help us finish the year strong with a gift to Place of Hope!

Now through the end of the year, Sal & Kim Tiano have stepped up and pledged to match dollar-for-dollar every gift that comes in before December 31!

The Tiano Family has personally been blessed through Place of Hope when they met their now adoptive son, Will, when he was a young teen. Will is now married, is a new home owner and works as a Support Specialist at Place of Hope! The Tiano's know that Will's story would not be possible without Place of Hope. They believe so much in the mission and leadership, that they stepped up with a matching challenge to inspire more people to give so that more lives like Will's could be changed forever.

Mary Brown, another incredible young lady who came into care in middle school with no hope. Abused and abandoned Mary was angry, but determined to make something of herself. Last year she graduated from FIU with her Bachelor Degree, and is currently pursuing a Master Degree.

Give now by clicking the "Match My Gift" button below, and Sal & Kim Tiano will match each dollar you donate!
There are several ways to support Place of Hope other than writing a check or making an online donation to make your year-end gift and take advantage of end-of-the-year tax benefits! All gifts will be matched, dollar for dollar, through December 31!

They say giving is better than receiving. Yesterday we were blessed with the opportunity to do both, give and receive!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Chris and Jill Gallagher and friends, Place of Hope was blessed with two truckloads of Christmas gifts, gift cards, games and toys! The Gallagher's hosted a Christmas Party (with a purpose) and encouraged their guests to bring an unwrapped gift, gift card or donation for the children and families in care at Place of Hope. Not only did they collect a lot of gifts, but also they raised a lot of money - $30,000!

🎁 Their funds are being matched by Sal & Kim Tiano, who has pledged to match dollar-for-dollar every gift to come in by December 31! The Tiano's will match your gifts too! placeofhope.com/donate

After we unloaded the gifts, we were blessed to give the group of 13 people a campus tour to see their compassion in action. They walked through a merry & bright family cottage decked out for Santa, our maternity home serving young single moms with new babies and one of our independent transitional living apartments at Villages of Hope. All of the guests were amazed at the accountability and structure and how everything felt warm and like home.

Thank you, Chris, Jill and friends, for making this one very special Christmas for so many.
