Living Word Films today announced the premier and release dates of their 2nd Feature Film, FAT CHANCE, to be October 22nd at 7pm and October 23rd with showings at 9am and 11am. The premier weekend will be held at 10520 Star Rd, Wake Forest, NC and all showings will be FREE and open to the public. The film will feature former Saturday Night Live co-star Victoria Jackson, Sarah LeJeune, Judah Duncan, Amaris Kirby, Wesley Elder and Lauren Jaski; all will be at the premier and available for photographs and interviews.
Following a huge success with their 1st Feature Film, ANOTHER CHANCE, Living Word Films is looking for FAT CHANCE to be well received by viewers and critics alike. ANOTHER CHANCE was nominated for 6 awards and won 3 including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actress at the Churches Making Movies Film Festival in New York.
FAT CHANCE is a character-driven romantic comedy, inspired by a true story. It tells the story of an overweight dental assistant who is challenged to find her
self-worth in Christ when she falls in love with a young man using her attractive friend’s picture on an online dating website. The movie will challenge you to look past appearances and see the person God created in each of us.
When asked what he hopes the audience walks away with Caronna says, “As a pastor for over twenty years, I see people with amazing potential every day who don't realize it because of how they see themselves. They let other people determine what they think of themselves. I wanted to make a meaningful but lighthearted film that would lead people to view themselves as the amazing creation that God created them to be.”
The film was shot in and around Wake Forest & Raleigh, North Carolina.
