GBC Members & Partners,
We’re gearing up for a highly engaged next phase. Here are a few things you should know about and please lean-in, where possible.
Kicking off the 10-Year Economic Opportunity Plan
Next week, more than 120 partners from throughout the Baltimore region will meet TIP Strategies to inform the regional economic opportunity plan. Today, I published a piece in the Baltimore Business Journal, outlining the urgency of this effort and how the outcome will shape GBC’s work and position the region for economic growth.
“TIP will work closely with GBC members and partners to not just frame the regional assets or repurpose existing research, but outline a plan of action that positions our region for growth”
We still have room for GBC Partners. E-mail partner@gbc.org to learn more.
Baltimore Transit Future Campaign (RE: Red Line)
This week, GBC and the Greater Washington Partnership released a video highlighting the Baltimore Transit Future’s campaign, which has 70 member companies from our region.
But, we need more. If you’re committed to ensuring the region’s public transportation system should mirror the potential of our region, and would like to join GBC/GWP in setting the table for engagement on how to make this happen, join the campaign.
