Walzer Melcher and Yoda is proud to share that the firm celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025. WMY was initially founded by Peter M. Walzer and Christopher C. Melcher. In 2020, Steven K. Yoda became an owner, and his name was later added to the partnership. The firm currently has nine attorneys and is expanding. The Rutter Guide
Christopher C. Melcher is now a contributing author to The Rutter Group California Practice Guide on Family Law. This four-volume treatise is widely used by the bench and bar in California and is the most-cited secondary source by courts across California on family law.
This was a professional bucket list item for Chris to be a part of this venerable publication.
